The railway police have managed to arrest three people who have solved the mystery of the case where a dead body was found in the drum of Baiyappanahalli railway station.
The accused killed Tamanna in Baiyappanahalli and hid the body in a drum. Now the accused have been traced and arrested by the railway police.
Tamanna's murder was committed by eight people, out of which three accused have been arrested. Kamal (21), Tanveer Alam (28) and Shakib (25) have been arrested by the police. The remaining five accused namely Nawab, Jamal, Mazhar, Assab and Sabool are absconding. During the investigation, it was revealed that the killing was led by the husband's elder brother due to family feud.
Hailing from Bihar, Tamannaah got married to Afroz in April last year. Tamanna, who was divorced from him, who was mentally challenged, came to Bangalore with Afroz's uncle's son Intikab. Both were married and lived near Jigani.
However, Intikab's brother Nawab was angry that she had ruined the peace of the family. Nawab, who had come to Bangalore, called his brother Intikab on March 12 and called Tamanna and Intikab from Leegane to show them to Bangalore.
Intikab, Tamanna, Nawab, Kamal, Tanveer Alam, Shakib, Jamal, Massar, Assab, Sabool all went around Bangalore and had lunch together. Speaking after that, he said, "The peace of our family has been ruined by Tamannaah. She should not be in Bangalore, I will send her to Bihar, you should go back to your home." Later, brother threatened Intikab and sent him back to the leech.
In the evening, he was strangled and killed by tying his neck with a whale. The accused had broken the dead body's leg and sealed it in a blue drum which they had prepared earlier. At around 11:45 pm, he went to Baiyyappanahalli railway station in an auto and escaped by leaving a drum in front of the portico.
But Jamal's name and address were found on the same drum. The accused were arrested on the basis of the same sticker.
